Hotel Negresco is one of the few remaining
privately owned palaces still existing in the world.
Jeanne Augier, owner and chairman, has created a unique living museum. She desired to share her passion for art with her clients. Throughout the
hotel, epic periods in the history of France are represented, from the
renaissance to the 3rd Millenium.
Furnished throughout with a unique personal collection of antiques and
contemporary works of art, the hotel is a veritable voyage of discovery.
The elegant rooms and suites are all individually decorated and bear
such evocative names as Suite Louis XVI, Pompadour, and Traviata.
The hotel disposes of 2 restaurants : a " brasserie " style restaurant, La
Rotonde and also a gastronomic restaurant, Le Chantecler (1* Michelin),
offering the savoury creations of the Executive Chef Bruno Turbot in a
somptuous Regency style. |
