Villa
Luppis is the name of the old monastery which was built here by the
Camaldolite monks at the beginning of the 11th century, on the
confluence between the river Livenza and Meduna.
Turned into a superb country house, it became an elegant estate and was
used by the family ancestors as a place where they held their public
relation activities with the industrial personalities and the diplomats.
Today, the Villa still recalls past times' splendour and atmosphere.
With an accurate intervention aiming to maintain as far as possible,
everything unaltered, the house has been turned into a 31-bedroom hotel
(4 suites) with period furnishing. Providing the establishment with
every comfort you can think of..., plus an excellent restaurant and a
relaxing piano-bar. |
