Hotel Accademia is one of
Verona's few older hotels (dating from the 19th century) that was custom
built rather than being transformed from a monastery or palazzo.
Situated in the centre of Verona, Hotel Accademia is located just off
the shopping street of Via Mazzini, the renowned veronese shopping
promenade, within easy reach of the Roman Arena, Piazza Erbe and
Juliet's balcony, immortalized itself in our memory by Shakespeare's
famous drama "Romeo & Juliet. The hotel is central to everything
including the wonderful shops. It is, though, surprisingly quiet and
tranquil with curteous and helpful staff and comfy sofas and tables
dotted here and there. The bedrooms are mostly large and well furnished,
The high-ceilinged guest rooms are conservatively traditional and
contain excellent furnishings, especially quality mattresses and fine
linen and the buffet breakfast sets you up for the day. Enjoying a
central location, Hotel Accademia is the ideal choice for a stay in a
romantic city with its Oriental carpets, medieval tapestry and a pair of
grandiose marble columns flanking the polished stone stairs leading to
the three floors of rooms. |
