Hotel
Adler Cavalieri is located in Via della Scala, the old wayfarers’
road to the city centre. The hotel palace was built on the ruins of
an ancient monastery dated back to 1300, right in front of the old
Santa Maria della Scala Hospital, from which the street took its
name.
The prestigious palace of late 19th century is now completely
renewed. The high comfort level, the elegant old Florentine style
furniture, the precious marbles, wooden boiseries and the fresco-painted
ceilings let hotel guests enjoy the charming atmosphere of the 19th
century Florence.
All the 60 comfortable and elegant rooms are furnished in late 19th
century Florentine style, with precious tapestry and painted
ceilings. It is possible to reserve laundry service, no-smoking
rooms and rooms with Jacuzzi tub (subject to availability). Each
room is provided with luxurious en-suite bathroom with shower or
bath-tub, tiled in precious marble. Some rooms have a terrace.
The hotel is just a few steps from the main railway station of Santa
Maria Novella and Florence exhibition-congress centre Fortezza da
Basso. Hotel guests can reach in few minutes’ cheering walk all the
most important monuments and the historical areas placed on the
hills around the city. |
