Immortalised by Scott
Fitzgerald, the paradisiacal Hotel Belles Rives offers its guests an
elegant and charming hotel whose 1930s style has been fully reinstated
and provided with an even greater level of comfort.
The Belles Rives has the particular charm of being a residence on the
shores of the Mediterranean – a perfect setting for families or friends
to spend their holidays. Direct access to the sea and a private beach,
as well as a jetty for nautical activities and mooring boats, form part
of this slice of paradise.
On the upper floors of the hotel, the corridors place emphasis on this
nautical setting. Mahogany panelling and blue and white wallpaper
reflect the “boat” style which is further accentuated by the use of
chrome handrails. The blue carpeting, exclusively designed for Belles
Rives by Jules Flippo, is decorated with marine patterns inspired by the
Normandie passenger liner and a musical note, a subtle but key reference
to the importance of jazz at Juan-les-Pins.
Belles Rives is synonymous with pleasure, be it through recreation,
entertainment or peaceful beachside relaxation, spending the hours lying
on blue and white sun loungers shaded by parasols.
This little slice of paradise on the Mediterranean coast is a moment of
delight and harmony facing the Lérins islands, Palm beach and the
Esterel hills in the distance. A palace whose white and blue colours
reflect the surrounding sky and sea. Superb white awnings with the
twinkling lights of the shore as a backdrop, or the hotel’s elegant
illuminated façade… Long dresses and formal wear… Jewels reflecting the
star-studded night sky… A step back into the past when such events had a
dream-like quality. And yet a modern setting in a décor imbued with
history, in surroundings that have remained virtually unchanged since
the 1930’s, and where a certain nostalgia continues to float over the
calm waters of the Mediterranean. |
