Hotel Carrobbio is one of your better options in Milan. The building
from the outside may be quite deceiving upon arriving, but rest assured
that Carrobbio has its own prestige charm. This is a
small hotel which is part of four properties in Italy owned and run, by
the same family, now going on the third generation as hoteliers! Carrobbio is extremely well located in two senses, one because it is
walking distance from the famous Milano Cathedral "El Duomo"
and the other is that this non fancy building happens to be on a side
pedestrian street, just off the main drag, and this provides a quietness
you cannot find in five star deluxe hotels. Specially keeping in mind
that Europeans in autumn, winter and spring, do not have the air
conditioning on, and many nights you may find necessary to open the
window...
The rooms at Carrobbio are nothing to write home about, but they are fit
with all the conveniences one would expect to find in a four star hotel
