Bassano del Grappa is a medieval walled city of 40,000 inhabitants at the base of Mount Grappa in the northeast of Italy. Its is a wonderful place to walk and visit the piazzas which host activities all year round, churches and the famous wooden covered bridge by Andrea Palladio. Also a place that should not be missed is the Ezzelini Castle.
