We have opened our summer Kempinski
Terrace, where we hope you'll enjoy many meals and refreshments. Our
Sunday Brunch, barbecue and World Cup specials will revolve around
this comfortable outdoor space.
The long days and warm nights create endless opportunities for
excursions, entertainment and cultural happenings about town, and we
promise to do our best to ensure a restful night's sleep in between.
Our Terrace is in a quiet pedestrian zone at the heart of the city.
We like to think of it as two parts "Giardino elegant" and one part
"Brauhaus cosy."
It's an ideal summer venue with many attractions:
- A comfortable spot any time of day for breakfast, lunch,
candlelight dinner, coffee and cakes, beer, ice cream sundaes, etc.;
- Every Saturday night beginning May 20th we offer a BBQ dinner on
the Terrace;
- We will hold our popular BBQ Sunday Brunches from July 2nd to
September 3rd, where guests can enjoy the finest cuts of meat and
fresh seafood grilled to perfection |

KEMPINSKI SPA - LOMILOMI |
|
|
|
 |
The season of rejuvenation and renewal has arrived - why not
celebrate with an invigorating Lomilomi treatment at the Kempinski
Spa?
This ancient wellness therapy hails from Hawaii, where the
techniques have been passed down through family members over
countless generations. The aim is to relieve congestion in the body
by using broad massage strokes with the entire arm, including the
elbows and forearms. Practitioners are also trained to relieve the
patient's internal and emotional stress through the use of breath
and mental relaxation. This therapy is particularly recommended for
pain relief and healing following an illness or injury.
For more information on this and other exclusive treatments and
facilities available at the Kempinski Spa, please visit us on the
second floor.

ABOUT BUDAPEST |
| |
|
Budapest's
extraordinary atmosphere can be felt everywhere. From old women
selling boxes of raspberries in the heart of downtown Pest, cars
careening by on all sides, to young boys playing soccer in the green
foothills of Buda, where the air is fresh and clean, this city and
its people will take you in and hold you tight. Budapest is a
remarkable and wholly unpretentious place.
That is the sort of magnetic quality that Budapest radiates.
Peaceful and bustling, a big metropolis and yet friendly, it
treasures the old and embraces the new. Here the historic blends
with the modern, the hills harmonize with the river, that is, the
Danube, which flows through the city along a stretch of 28
kilometres. The Castle District in Buda is the ancient kernel of the
capital's right-bank settlement. Everything that surrounds it was
once only suburbs.
From
whatever direction you reach the Castle District, you cross the
ramparts which completely encircle Castle Hill. The whole area
within the ramparts is protected as an ancient monument: the lines
of the streets and the foundations and architectural remains of the
buildings retain the atmosphere and memories of the medieval and
eighteenth and nineteenth-century capital. |
