Hotel Gritti Palace was built in 1525 as the residence of the Doge of Venice, Andrea Gritti, the Hotel  is situated  in an ideal place, just a few minutes from St. Mark's Square, directly overlooking the Grand Canal, with an incomparable view of Venice. This  elegant  typical Venetian architecture building, is one  of the world's most celebrated hotels, and still continues to attract elite guests.  In an elegant, refined setting, special courtesies are provided and an unsurpassable  attentive service is given to all guests. This  splendid little palazzo that preserves within its walls, stories of illustrious visitors, has been fully refurbished and modernized, and decorated in luxurious comfort, in an atmosphere created by precious decorations and beautiful antique furnishing marble flooring and crystal chandeliers.
