Hotel Jagdhof Glashutte

 Glashütter Str. 20 57334 Glashütte − Germany

Member of Relais & Chateaux

The old Inn was a place where travellers were traditionally welcomed to rest, relax and to recover from long journeys.

It has now become a vacation paradise in the midst of nature, offering guests all kind of first class service without aspiring to be "luxurious".

Regional & urban

Purely from the geographical point of view, the fabulous forests of Wittgenstein border on the south-easterly tip of Sauerland. But what does that actually tell us? Quite simply: this is a vacation paradise set in the immense glory of untouched nature.

Far from the madding crowd, but all the more full of life – real life.

Siegen-Wittgenstein is one of Germany’s most afforested regions. In the variegated highland landscape, reaching up to 800 m.a.s.l., can be found the sources of the Sieg, Lahn and Eder rivers. Enthusiasts can practise more than 45 different sports here all year round, including football, tennis, paragliding, cross-country skiing, ice-skating, and of course cycling and hiking along about 3500 kilometres of marked paths.

Admittedly, it is your home away from home. After a while the endless variety of outdoor activities that you can experience in our surrounding will certainly get you outside. However, we have some marvelous ideas to give you unforgettable moments: barbeques, wine-tastings, a traditional Wittgenstein picnic in the woods, and of course our legendary cuisine parties and cocktail courses.

We prepare all our luxurious herbal baths for you with sesame base oil and real farm cream, and hand you a glass of bubbling Jagdhof champagne or Kombucha.

Cleopatra Beauty Bath

Wittgenstein honey dissolved in a litre of fresh milk and added to the bathwater makes your skin soft and smooth, even the driest skin.

Eucalyptus Bath

Oil from the leaves of the Eycalyptus Globulus tree smells fresh and invigorating. It stimulates your circulation, and during the cold winter season it is ideal for preventing or healing colds and flu.

Lavender Bath

This sweetly floral, balsamic and woody scented oil is won from the blossoms and leaves of the Lavandula Angustifolia bush. It ideally relaxes you for fleeing everyday stress, and is not only calming and harmonizing, but also good for relieving pain and cramp.

Our masseur Rudolf Niemann is an old hand, an absolute master above all in classic Swedish massage, sports massage and lymph drainage.

Christmas Parties

When the thermometer drops and the first snowflakes fall is all a bit quiet at the Jagdhof. A unique atmosphere can be felt and we are preparing .... the eternal lovers who make yourself comfortable with a hot chocolate in front of the crackling Hubertusfireplace, on winter sports, which grows its cross-country skis or like trudges an hour in the snow, or on the family, for in the kitchen, a large carrot of snowman's nose worried. but particularly to the Christ child, because, believe us, very much comes in thefestively decorated Jagdhof.

Wiener Kaffee - Viennese Coffee

In 1662 the portuguese Catherine of Braganza, the wife of King Charles II, brought the tea to the english court for the first time.

According to the legend, a maid of the Queen Victoria (1819-1901), the Duchess of Bedford, invented afternoon Tea. Because she was always hungry between lunch and dinner, she had tea and bread and butter served around 4pm. In the course of time, she invited her friends to the tea and now also small cakes and sandwiches served. Very quickly this practice spread throughout the English kingdom, became a tradition and soon became an everyday occurrence. The British Teatime has been known world-wide since then.

Please fill this form for individuals or for groups and you shall receive an answer written by a live person at Hotel Jagdhof Glashutte. This is the only way you can know exactly what room types are available for the dates you want, and the best possible rate, because you are dealing directly with the hotel.
Bear in mind that websites set up to give an automatic answer, work with allocated quotas given by the hotel, therefore when it appears there are no rooms available for the date you want, this is not necessarily true, because they never allocate ALL the rooms to third parties.
