Would appreciate a little more information on the swimming pool opening times. It was not operational during our visit. We hope to come next year, so all information gratefully received.

"I am happy to confirm that we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Juan II and have happy memories of our four days there. The rooms were comfortable pleasant and spacious and staff very helpful (despite our mutual language problems!).
One little improvement that might be helpful for ‘foreign visitors’ would be a breakfast menu in basic European languages ( e.g. English, German, French). It was difficult to know what we could order at breakfast and for the waiters to understand what we wanted – although we managed in the end with a phrase book and good humour on all sides!
We are planning to return to Toro for a wedding next August and have already booked our rooms at Juan II. We are all looking forward to returning to Juan II with our husbands."

" We had a lovely stay at the hotel. When we stopped last year, the pool was closed but we were there in the holiday season and would have liked to swim. That was our only criticism. We love the rooms, love the views, love the food at breakfast and evenings.

"We enjoyed our two days at the Hotel Juan II very much. The room was fine, the view was spectacular. Service was good. What made our stay special, however, was the hotel restaurant. We ate both evenings and had great food, great wine and great service."

"I can say with certainty that it was one of our favourite accommodations of our tour of Spain. The service was excellent. The people were very friendly and helpful. The view is tremendous, and the staff made sure we were put in a room where we could enjoy it. I'll definitely stay there again if I am able to re−visit Toro."

"We had a lovely time at Hotel Juan II in Toro. It was satisfactory in every way. They were very friendly and courteous and they gave us two rooms with fabulous views. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there next time."
