Hotel Le Kilimandjaro is a luxury hotel located at 1850 Mts. at the foot of the Pralong's ski runs, opened on 16th December 2001. From the slopes, it looks like a cluster of stylish chalets, but the 11 units are all linked and arranged around a stunning indoor swimming pool to form a single hotel. Each suite or room has an alpine chalet feel, with pine ceiling, floor and walls and stylish but comfy furnishings in deep red. Mixed with the traditional is the luxury, from plasma screen television to a huge bathroom with bath big enough for two, and a complimentary mini bar "Þiled" with soft drinks and snacks.
The resort has two restaurants, the Coeur d'Or Restaurant, which offers a traditional, gourmet and sophisticated cuisine which will satisfy any discerning palate and a small intimate restaurant seating 16 that serves specialities from the region. There is a ski shop at the hotel where guests can purchase and rent equipment and the hotel also offers a ski in/ski out faciltiy. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snow blading, and extreme skiing are all available at this ski resort and it is suitable for all levels of skiing. There is one freshwater, heated, swimming pool and there is also a health centre located on site which has a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness centre, plus the hotel has a beauty salon with hairdressers, aestheticians and a massage parlour.
