From Porto Torres:
Leaving the
port, you must follow the road signs for Sassari, until you get onto the
dual carriageway S.S. (Main Road) 131 Carlo Felice; you must now follow
the road signs for Cagliari.
After about 75 Kms., you will arrive close to the town of
Macomer. The S.S. (main road) 131 runs along the edge of the town and,
at the beginning of a long downhill slope, you must take the turning to
Nuoro. Please be careful and slow down once you get close to the cross
roads as it is placed in a dangerous position on a bend.
Once you have arrived at the outskirts of Nuoro, you must follow the
road signs for Lanusei, and drive for about 70 Kms. along the
new dual carriageway.
At the end of the dual carriageway, after just having passed the built
up area of Villanova Strisaili, you must turn left in the direction of
Villagrande Strisaili, driving beside the woodlands of Santa Barbara and
following the road signs for Tortoĺ/Arbatax, you will arrive at your
destination.
