La Preghiera is located in Italy’s green heart, the land of poets,
saints and painters, Saint Francis of Assisi, Michelangelo of Caprese,
Luca Signorelli of, maybe, Morra, and of course Raffaello of Cittá di
Castello. Our website, Tunstill's Umbria, which might amuse, entertain
and inform. The property is but a short cycle ride to one of the best
ice-cream and pastry shops in the area, or in all of Umbria, maybe even
Italy ... or perhaps the world!! We are within a thirty minute
countryside drive to about ten medieval hilltop towns with their
wonderful architecture, quaint streets, good museums, and family
restaurants.
La Preghiera offers a peaceful and tranquil respite from the cares of
everyday life, a haven of beauty in the midst of a minor architectural
