From the Hotel Manin all the
main facilities of Venice are within easy reach. La Fenice
Theatre at 5 minutes walking. The Accademia Gallery and
Palazzo Grassi at 5 minutes walking. At 10 minutes walking,
but reachable also by waterbus directly from the Hotel is
San Marco Square and the historical palaces: Palazzo Ducale
and the main museums, as well as the shopping district.
Overlooking the lagoon stands the bell tower of San Marco,
whose five bells tolled pronouncing particular events in the
life of the Serenissima (under the reign of the “Malefico”
the bells tolled to mark an execution) and from the top you
can see all the way to the Dolomites. |
