If you love the classic and elegant style, then you will love Hotel Palazzo Murat’s rooms as they are unique and special with their perfectly renovated antique furniture and wooden, terracotta, ceramic and wrought iron details made by our local craftsmen. All our rooms are equipped with modern conveniences, so if you fancy some music for instance, all you have to do is turn on our iPod station.
As you simply glance out over the terrace, you will see the Dome’s majolica cupola, Positano’s colourful houses and finally, you will be able to admire the sea. You will find your very own little corner of relax in the peace and quiet of our garden and may even forget being in the centre of  town.

Our double rooms with garden view are in the most recent part of the palace and are all furnished following the typical Positano style with terracotta floors, brick headboards and  painted wooden shields.
What makes these rooms special are the balconies and terraces that overlook the hotel’s Mediterranean garden with its one-hundred-year old buganvillea, citron and orange trees and its tall palm trees that make an excellent scented shelter from the sun...

Those of you who choose to stay in our Superior rooms, will have the chance to admire the beautiful view of Positano, our garden and the sea every morning when waking up.
These rooms are classicly furnished with antique furniture and all have a private terrace with table and chairs where you can enjoy a cup of tea or read a book while surrounded only by the peace and quiet Palazzo Murat can offer you.

There is no doubt that our Special Superior rooms are absolutely special and unique: they are two “corner” bedrooms and are the ideal place if you want to admire the whole of Positano with one simple glance.
They are both furnished following a typical Positano style. In one of the rooms you will have a 15 m2 private terrace with chaise longues as well as table and chairs to relax in total privacy, while in the other room you will have the chance to admire a breathtaking view from its two big balconies.

Our double deluxe rooms are prestigious rooms located in the eighteenth century wing of the hotel and offer their guests all the charm of the Baroque and a warm and cosy atmosphere.
These quiet and peaceful rooms are perfect for those of you who love the typical atmosphere created by four-poster beds, terracotta floors, antique mirrors and wooden wardrobes.

If you are in search of an extraordinary experience, it is definitely worth trying Palazzo Murat’s Special Deluxe room. The story goes that this was the room where the King of Naples, Gioacchino Murat, used to spend his nights with his lovers and this is why the room still treasures its romantic and sensual atmosphere.
This room is located in the eighteenth century wing of the hotel and if you choose to stay here, you will be surrounded by antique furniture and details that have all been perfectly renovated, like the four-poster bed for instance, the wooden false ceilings and the terracotta floors, the two balconies that overlook Positano and the crystal clear sea of the Amalfi Coast. Your stay here will be “royal”.

Every morning (from 8.00-11.00), we will serve you breakfast in our Courtyard or in our elegant breakfast room with coffee and tea, fresh cakes, orange juice and a great selection of salted food.

Restaurant and snack bar:

our bar is open all day, and from midday until 5 pm we prepare light dishes for lunch or for a snack. Every evening, you can also enjoy an exquisite Mediterranean dinner in our restaurant “Al Palazzo”.

Our Wedding Planners will assist you in the organization of your wedding ceremony or of any other private party you wish to celebrate here.

Thanks to its favourable position enjoys all the advantages of a mild, dry climate. Laid at the southern feet of the Mounts Lattari, which protect it from the Northwinds is surrounded by green mounts, which form a sort of crown: Mount Comune, Mt. S. Maria del Castello, Mt. S. Angelo a Tre Pizzi , Mt. Conocchia, Mt. Campo dei Galli and Mt. Paipo.
