Hotel Punta Rossa is a resort complex open all year round, situated on six acres on a hill side gently sloping into the crystal clear water full of reefs.
The configuration of Hotel Punta Rossa can best be appreciated in the pictures. The hotel rooms and suites are all in the main building that stretches across the property; the villages are on the lower left side, they start at sea level and build up to meet the left wing of the main building. These are called the “fishermen villages” because they were built imitating such type of housing. The villages, the same as all the rooms and suites, face the sea. An interesting particularity of this hotel, are its swimming pools: one heated indoor and another huge one outdoor, both with untreated sea water that runs in and out back to the sea, around the clock. The terraces in the suites and in three of the standard rooms, are really very inviting: spacious, fitted with nice sun chairs and all with the beautiful sea view in front. At Hotel Punta Rossa, something to keep in mind, because of its configuration, is that everywhere you go there are a lot of steps, either up or down. |
