Thanks to it's agreeable
climate, the Costa Del Sol has become an extremely popular
destination for travellers, providing the complete holiday
experience.Only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport, the hotel is
magnificently located on what has recently been termed the 'Costa
del Golf ' with over 60 courses in the locality. Mijas Golf, has two
18 hole courses and is probably the most popular golf complex on the
Costa Del Sol. Valderrama home of the 1997 Ryder Cup is possibly the
most famous of all the golf courses in Spain, just 30 minutes from
the Hotel Tamisa Golf.
The Sierra Nevada ski resort provides a
change of sport for the winter months, only 1 and a half hours drive
from Mijas. The beach is barely at 5 minute drive, offering all the usual water sports like windsurfing, sailing and
jet-skiing. Apart from golf, other all year round activities include
excursions, nature walks and horse riding. Shopping is an activity
which is never out of season. A stick of rock from the old Gibraltar
garrison, a diamond ring from the fashionable town of Marbella or a
trinket from a shop in the white washed mountain village of Mijas. |
