The Hotel V Centenario was
opened at the end of 1991. It is a modern facility situated in a
quiet district of Caceres. One of the better options to stay in
Caceres. The rooms of Hotel V Centenario are very comfortable, all
equipped as you would expect them to be in any fine four star
property, with the particular convenience of having two extra large
adjoining twin beds in every room. These beds are approximately 4
feet wide. Bathrooms are in marble. The lobby of this hotel is one
of its highlights, ceiling are double high, there is lots of space
with sitting areas and card tables, plus an inviting bar simulating
a sail boat called El Galeon. Another worth while mentioning detail
is the buffet breakfast which is quite bountiful and is served from
7:30 am to 11am every day except Sundays when it is possible to have
breakfast up to 11:30 am. There is no extra charge for room service,
but this would be only continental breakfast. The typical meat from
the region is the "Retinto", a breed of veal from Extremadura that
is served in the Hotel's restaurant: Florencia.
Finally, the Hotel V Centenario is frequented by a lot of hunters
from all parts, there is even a lounge called Los Cazadores (The
Hunters). And the hotel restaurant called Florencia serves several
game dishes as well as meat which is typical of the Extremadura
region. |
