The Hotel Huerta Honda opens its
doors in front of the Dukes of Feria’s Citadel. Of southern
inspiration, where the flower, the light and the whitewashing lime
make it be a delicate and pleasant destination.
Fragances of the neighbouring Andalucía can be perceived in every
secret nook of the Hotel Huerta Honda, especially in the suite "Al-Andalus",
a room decorated in arabesque style that claims to be homage to the
culture of the ancient "Sajra", (name of the arabic Zafra). The
Hotel Huerta Honda has also eight suites "Gran Clase" and
thirty-five double rooms, all of them arranged with the most modern
comforts.
Huerta Honda complex is made up by the following complements:
Restaurant Barbacana, you can taste a great variety of courses,
based on the original rich and assorted products from Extremadura,
which surprise thanks to their elegant smells and flavours. Lambs,
piglets and calfs, accompanied with the best wines, are transformed
into a divine pleasure by the hands of experienced cooks in this
matchless setting. Las Mazmorras, a different discotheque is a
perfect end for the great number of weddings and banquets that are
celebrated in the wide hotel’s halls. Finally, the Paddy Virutas’
Irish Pub, in the forgotten extremaduran lands is possible to find a
good pint of Guinness beer too. This old carpenter’s shop,
surrounded by the stone walls of the Citadel, hides the first
Guinness’ official Irish Pub of Extremadura. Inside it, the smell
given off by the great stone chimney, which moderates the hard
extremaduran winters, mixes with the smell of friendship and
happiness that fills the ambient. |
