Step into the world of Kristiania Lech am Arlberg and share the magic of our small and friendly luxury ski hotel, artfully appointed rooms and suites, moments of sheer culinary pleasure day for day, a breathtaking mountain panorama, and the undivided attention of your hosts.
Your own private space in a hotel? At the Kristiania, it goes without saying. A feeling of privacy is something you only experience in familiar surroundings and with a deep sense of wellbeing. That is why we pay so much attention to life's little - and bigger - comforts. There are no limits to our creativity, and the better we know you, the more we can quietly and discretely take care of you and all your wishes. All you have to do is accept.
We hope you have a fantastic stay!
Lech, the birthplace of Alpine skiing, is one of the world's best-known skiing regions, yet it has lost none of its traditional winter sports charm. It is almost as if it has stepped out of time: naturally beautiful yet still vibrant and modern. The natural landscape and the character of the village set Lech apart from most other ski resorts today and are likely to make for an even better holiday experience. We recommend that you take your time and let Lech show you everything it has to offer. If you prefer, we will be happy to give you specific tips for your own personal journey of discovery through the old and the new.
You may also choose to share your personal idea of luxury with us. That too goes without saying. Everything you could possibly wish for we either do already, without you having to say a word, or you let us know your individual wishes and leave the rest to us. If you would like to find a steaming hot, aromatic bath waiting for you in your room after a strenuous day on the slopes, if you dream of a romantic picnic in the snow, a helicopter flight over snow-topped peaks or a caring nanny to give you some special time-out as parents - whatever your wishes, simply talk to our friendly staff at reception. Sometimes a suggestion from us is enough to put you in the holiday spirit.
Valet Parking. The Kristiania has no front-of-hotel parking. We will be happy to reserve a space in the garage for you at a fee of Euro 25 per day and take care of parking your car.

Lech am Arlberg is a mountain village and an exclusive ski resort in the Bludenz district in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg on the banks of the river Lech. In terms of both geography and history, Lech belongs to the Tannberg district. In tourist terms, however, it is part of the Arlberg region. Lech is administered together with the neighbouring villages of Zürs, Zug, Oberlech and Stubenbach. The municipality is an internationally known winter sports resort on the mountain range Arlberg.
Lech was founded in the fourteenth century by Walser migrants from the canton of Wallis in Switzerland.
Until the nineteenth century it was known as Tannberg, but subsequently the full name "Tannberg am Lech" gave rise to the present name Lech.
The church of St Nicholas in Lech, which is thought to have been built in approximately 1390, was the parish church of the Tannberg administrative district, and there was also a Tannberg district court in Lech until the dissolution of the Tannberg district in 1806.
In the last decades, the small town has developed into a flourishing municipality by the influence of winter tourism and increasingly, also by summer tourism.
The most elegant and ambitious of our culinary highlights, this is fine dining à la Kristiania. Here our chefs put all their skill and craftsmanship into creating inspired cuisine and a truly gourmet experience.
White, elegant, French. Stylishly relaxed cuisine by candlelight with French table service, contemporary design and a backdrop of atmospheric chansons. Experience the Marais Quarter of Paris with a view of the Lech mountains.
Traditional regional cuisine meets hospitality in its purest form. Relaxed, easy-going, friendly, but very much in the here and now. Traditional Austrian dishes fused with contemporary lounge music.
Sink into the fine down covers of our deckchairs and enjoy the sunshine, snow and magnificent impressions of winter. From February to well beyond Easter, our sun terrace is the best place for a leisurely lunch, drink, tea or coffee in a magical setting.
This is the perfect place for a relaxed chat, an elegant cocktail or a creative taster of our cuisine. The magnificent sound of our Steinway grand piano accompanies you through the afternoon, framed by the uniquely inspiring view of the Red Wall. The interior is artful, carefully composed, and inviting. Take coffee, afternoon tea or a Martini here and get to know the hotel and its guests from just one of the many pleasant sides of the Kristiania.
