Especially spacious, suites offer canopy King beds and panoramic views over the rooftops of the old village of Maratea. Each suite has unique characteristics, such as a spacious bathtub carved into mountain's rock in "La Vicaria" and a large terrace with views onto the historical centre of Maratea for "La Badessa". The 'Le Novizie' Suite is on two levels and is ideal for families while the 'Le Converse' and the 'La Superiora' suites both offer a private garden.

Maratea is an architecturally delightful region, defined by narrow streets, alleys and features over 40 churches. Local archaeological finds are exhibited in the Convento dei Cappuccini and the Palazzo de Lieto Museum.
The historical centres of Rivello, Nemoli (22 km) and Lagonegro (30 km) are also a short journey away.
The San Lorenzo Charterhouse in Padula (60 km), the archaeological site of Paestum (108 km), Brienza (90 km) and the medieval Caracciolo Castle - including the archaeological site of Grumentum (70 km) - are also worth visiting.
For a day trip we suggest the itinerary of the Federician Castles: Castel Lagopesole (151 km), Melfi (179 km), Venosa (184 km) e Palazzo San Gervaso (183 km). Of particular interest is the city of Matera (178 km) - awarded a Patrimony of Humanity designation by UNESCO.
