The etymology of the word Idrokinesis® combines the Greek terms water and movement. And the meteoric water of Abano Terme is the main element in each therapeutic session. This water is charged with geothermal energy and gushes forth at a constant temperature of 85°. Its unique and valuable characteristics are the result of the long journey it makes to arrive at the surface, after flowing into the uncontaminated basins of the Lessini Mountains and the Pre-Alps, with a total distance covered of eighty kilometres. The extraordinary value of this ‘elixir’ containing hyperthermal sodium chloride, bromide and iodide (with a fixed residue of 5.050 grams of dissolved salts per litre) lies in the skill with which it is extracted from wells, using a pump system that maintains all its qualities intact.
