Bocairent
is one of the most beautiful villages in the Valencian Shire. With
no comparing landscape, it is situated in the Mariola’s Mountain
Natural Park, famous on the basis of its numerous aromatics and
curative flora spices and the multiple paths It has.
But its interest lies on the marvellous landscape it has and the
historical legacy it keeps. Bocairent can be proud of having a rich
past and a strongly rooted cultural personality and must be visited
in our leisure trips.
In the Medieval quarter, narrows and sinuates streets give us the
privilege of being transported through the Muslim, Medieval y
Renascence culture. Sir Houses that there are in Raval Quarter must
be taken into account as well.
The Asunción Church highlights with its impressive tower, built over
the ancient Muslim castle foundations.
For itself an exhibition, add too its Museum, with authentic
jewellery of sacred art and the Archaeological Museum, with a wide
token of village
history that go from Superior Palaeolithic to
Middle Ages.
Constructions in carved rock is another historical referee. In the
urban center can be visited “Covetes dels Moros” (Muslim Caves) and
the Bullring. They are on edafologyc constitution basis. First are a
54 holes whole, 53 of them communicated between them. Bullring is
