"An
absolute joy", say visitors to Hotel La Moraleja, composed of two white
villas in a residential area. Careful landscaping has made it a peaceful
oasis. It is beautifully furnished and maintained. Thanks to ingenious
water features and a cage of cheery canaries, you never hear noise from
the road. The homely feel is aided by the presence of the family owners
at every meal. Unusually for Spain, children under 14 are not welcomed.
You will taste a good dinner with six choices of main course, daily
specials' (booking essential) and a fair wine list at reasonable prices.
The breakfast is "excellent" and "impeccably served" outdoors on fine days.
The Hotel La Moraleja is filled with a collection of Spanish paintings, and the
owner's collection of vintage cars is on display.
