The Palazzetta del Vescovo is a luxury and charming historical house, close to the wonderful town of Todi, located in a special place that allows panoramic views of the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The building dated 1763 has been the summer residence of Todi’s bishops.
Paola and Stefano who own and run it, will be there to welcome you. They’ve been captured by the beauty of the countryside, by the cultural richness decided to establish their residence right here after spending many years working as top managers in multinational companies. In the year 2006 after two years of precise and respectful renovation they transformed it into an exclusive luxury country house that combine the original spirit of it with the most actual comforts.
The attentive staff, the extreme attention to detail, the warm tones of colors, the antique furniture, the refined bed linens of satin, contribute to create a cozy and exclusive atmosphere. The nine bedrooms with elegant fully equipped ensuite bathrooms provide wide and at the same time intimate, refined, and informal spaces. One room is fully equipped for handicapped is located at the ground floor of the small building.
Among its features there is the infinity swimming pool situated in a unique position dominating the valley of Tevere, which provide to the guests a spectacular view.
La Palazzetta del Vescovo is the ideal place to live a unique experience, in a familiar warm setting. In the intimacy of the fireplace room or in the panoramic summer terrace, the guests will have the chance to enjoy a large breakfast or the recipes of the Umbrian and Italian traditions. The food, always fresh and genuine, is accurately selected from small local producers; which originate from simple cuisine, unique in flavours and tastes. The relais offer to his guests during their stay complimentary soft drinks (excluded dinner beverages and wine) and free internet connection.

Our three apartments ( approximately 100 sqm each), located in front of the Villa , consist in 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, with fireplace and large living area. They have been renovated maintaining the features of the Tuscan countryside. The amenities are: air conditioning, heating, wi- fi , direct dial telephone, satellite LCD TV , safe, hairdryer, bathroom amenities and slippers. Two of the three apartments have a private balcony . The stay at our apartments is only possible from November to April for a minimum stay of 7 nights room only .
THE GARDEN
The heart of Pratello Country Resort is the precious garden, a jewel of architecture and nature built according to the classical Tuscan style. The green design creates natural charming geometries in which you are able to discover green corners and patches of wonderful landscape.
THE POOL
Olive groves, fields, hills and forests are the natural frame of the most romantic corner of Pratello where you can admire enchanting sunsets. You will be delighted from the scenic views of the countryside, of hills covered with olive trees and woods and you can follow the games of the swallows flying up and down touching the water. What better corner to relax after a busy day's sightseeing or even before starting a journey.

There is also an LCD TV, satellite connection, telephone, free Wi-Fi Internet access, complimentary mineral water and a safe. It can sleep 3 (2 adults +1 child) or can be connected to a Romantic room to accommodate 4 (2 adults + 2 children).
Cosy rooms,measuring up to 35 m2 (377 ft2), perfectly reflect the style of La Palazzetta del Vescovo and offer you a view of the swimming pool or of the private garden. Double king size beds or twin beds, large marble bathrooms with and mosaics, his & her sinks, bathtub equipped with wall-mounted mirror, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer.

Two quaint rooms measuring 25 m2 (269 f2) feature a big romantic arch and are located in the main building overlooking the medieval village of Collelungo. A third romantic room is located on the ground floor in the cottage close to the main building. This room has a private terrace perfect for families with a baby or guests with special needs. Bathrooms feature mosaics and big rain shower and are fully equipped with a wall-mounted mirror, bathrobe, slippers and hairdryer. There is also an LCD TV, satellite connection, telephone, free Wi-Fi Internet access, complimentary mineral water and a safe. Sleeps 2.

Paola‘s philosophy is to use only ingredients sourced by local farmers and organic meat and vegetables whenever possible.
Her exquisite meals are also enhanced by the fresh herbs and vegetables she grows in her kitchen garden.
Enjoy a delicious home-cooked 4-course dinner in the dining room, a cozy space with restaurant-style tables and a living-room atmosphere, or outside on the terrace. The menu changes daily and offers 2 choices per course (ordered in advance). It is a delightful blend of modern-traditional and is driven by the availability of seasonal produce. Stefano‘s wine list proposes both local and Italian wines, made by producers who are passionate about their trade, and offer good
 value for money.
You can enjoy dinner at 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Before dinner, enjoy complimentary wine and local specialties served on the terrace or inside (starting at 7:30 p.m.)
Breakfast is continental and is served every morning from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the dining room or on the terrace. During summer, a light lunch is served, upon request, at 1 p.m.
La Palazzetta del Vescovo offers its guests a vast selection of wines to pair with the restaurant‘s dishes. There are about 130 different labels to chose from, covering the most important wine regions in Italy.
Naturally, the bulk of the list is dedicated to Umbrian wine producers and to the region‘s most well-known wines and varieties such as Sagrantino di Montefalco, Orvieto Classico, Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino. All the wineries present on our wine list have been personally selected by Stefano and often include small producers who make fine quality wines which might otherwise be difficult to discover.
Waiting to be enjoyed, our wines are kept in our spacious underground cellar which guarantees optimal conservation conditions.
