to a tunnel which brings you out at the Le Beauvallon Beach Club,

and relaxation. Just sitting on the decking overlooking the water and the mythical bay of

swimming pool nestling just above the swell of the Coastline
offers comforts of shady of cabanas and thick mattressed sun
loungers. A 7 metre heated outdoor jet pool tiled in blue
and gold mosaic offers the relaxation of a power massage

Frequently scheduled trips by the hotel's private
"navette" into St Tropez, makes travelling around the area so
much easier than by road, and is complimentary to hotel guests. Also a daily return trip to the nearby beaches of
Pampelonne, the renowned playground of the rich and famous is

For the more adventurous, the "Beauvallon Babe" a sexy,
fire-engine red, 31 foot Corsair Trimaran, which can race at a
blistering 29 knots, is ideal for a fast paced day at sea. Picnic
Hampers bursting with wonderful foods are provided for the day's

For die-hard
water sports fans, the hotel's navette will whisk you off
the Port Grimaud where jet skis, wakeboards, sailboats,
water-skis and many other toys are available for rental or
lessons.
Closer to home, the Beauvallon Sailing Club, situated next
to the hotel's beach, offers sailing and windsurfing lessons
for children and adults alike.

ABOUT SAINTE-MAXIME |

In
the Gulf of St. Tropez, Sainte-Maxime faces straight south and is
sheltered from the winds by the Maures Mountains. This exceptional
site makes for an ideal vacation spot.
The wonderful weather and the beautiful location have attracted
artists poets and writers for many years. Jean de Brunhoff, the
creator of Babar the Elephant, lived in the area for a long time. It
was in St. Maxime that he wrote the first ot the Babar series, In
Voyage de Babar pages 4 and 5 represent one ot the beaches here. it
is now known as La Plage des Eléphants (Elephant Beach).
You should enter the old town by
walking through the lively pedestrian streets, and then continue on
towards the superb gardens ot the "Promenade". The walk ends up on
the pier overlooking the gulf.
Discriminating tourists will be delighted by the beaches in the
center, and by those on the way out of the city, La Croisette Beach,
for example. The best beaches are to the west of St. Maxime and in
particular, La Nartelle. |
