Colunga is a beautiful Village that is located between the mountains
and the sea. It is surrounded by natural beauties and with an
historical splendour. Do not forget to visit Sierra del Sueve just 4
Km away from Colunga, and the Picu Pienzu, the highest point in all
the Asturian littoral and with the best views in the region. Also
not to be missed is the Jurassic Museum. This museum is located in
an spectacular building in the form of a dinosaur footprint and
contains an interesting sample of fossils, footprints and skeleton
reproductions of this animals that lived in the Asturian coast,

The best spectacle that
the Asturian region has to offer is nature. A spectacle open the
whole year which changes with every season taking
unsuspected colours that extends throughout the whole
Principality. That is why,
almost one third of the territory of Asturias has been
declared a "
Protected Natural Space of special interest". The intention
is to preserve this heritage, for future generations to enjoy this
precious legacy. The cultural heritage of Asturias is also a tourist
asset of this territory, in fact one of the most important. A
total of 200 duly catalogued and classified monuments can be found
throughout the region. The monumental heritage is dense and varied:
churches, chapels, prehistoric caves, mansions with coats of arms,
