Hotel Michel Trama opened in 1978 in the former residence of Raymond VII, Count of Toulouse. In 2000, this 13th century Bastide was given a whole new look by the interior designer, Jacques Garcia. Today, this quite exceptional hotel, blends silken fabrics with honey-coloured stone walls, sofas with lion’s paws and ancient floor tiles, a succession of rooms and a majestic oak staircase with the patina of time… Not to mention the interior courtyards, the terraces, the swimming pool, the garden, and the restaurant. Here everything exudes an aura of elegance, refinement and art de vivre. Just the way to escape to another age.
The hotel has 10 very luxurious rooms and suites. The décor draws its inspiration from the 18th century, with silk curtains, drapes and canopies over the four poster beds, silk taffeta bed heads, Louis Philippe furniture and light fittings with tiny shades in pleated ivory silk lined in nuances of vanilla. Then, two swing doors open onto the bathroom, with its matt walls and wash-hand basin set in Zimbabwean polished granite.
Luxury, calm and exquisite pleasure… Those are the watchwords for our tastefully decorated suites with their chic, baroque styling, sometimes combined with just a dash of impertinence.
Our suite offer direct access to the swimming pool so you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine.
Our bathrooms have a bathtub and shower with a separate toilet. Absolute comfort, Garcia style.
All the Rooms look out over the surrounding countryside.
Amenities: double or twin beds, direct-dial telephone, plasma-screen television, mini-bar.
