By Car:

As you leave Madrid airport, follow the directions to the A6. To reach it, you will drive along the M-40, which is a ring-road round Madrid. Keep following the signs A6 to “A Coruña”. After driving through a long tunnel, you will find the exit to Ávila with 2 different signs, one blue, one white: you want the blue one (A-51), on your left-hand side. When you arrive in the outskirts of Ávila (a ring-road round this town), you shall find directions to various places. Always follow the signs to Plasencia. After about 8-10 Km, past a petrol station (in red colours), you come to a left turn to “Arenas de San Pedro” (N-502). Drive about 43 km on this road, and then you will find a “Gredos” sign, and 50m after it, a right turn direction to “El Barco de Ávila” and Parador Nacional de Gredos (AV-941). Drive past the Parador and 6 km after you arrive in Hoyos del Espino; 200m past this first sign there is one for EL MILANO REAL on your right-hand side. Take that slope and follow that road (it is not in very good conditions). This will take you to our Hotel.
