This beautiful castle of the XVIth-XVIIIth centuries, surrounded
by age-old trees, horses, sheep, swans and peacocks is a hidden
jewel in a lush
area of ancient parkland. At the end of a long
winding avenue Michel and Marie-Christine personally, gives guests the warmest of
welcomes at the château. Refined and
authentically decorated interior. Antique furniture, tables of family
and a fireplace enhance the warm cosy lounges. The guests rooms, all
individually decorated and with stunning views to the gardens, are
bright and airy and let you enjoy the morning light stream
through the windows, inviting you to rise.
During the day, why not take
a stroll through the park in the avenue of plane trees or get in a
boat and have a ride on the ancient moat. In the evenings enjoy a book
in the small library, followed by an elegant candlelight dinner in the
grand dining room or in the soft air of a summer night, or simply in front of
the fire in the drawing room, let the master of
the house take you to the past with his stories of local history. |
