The Chateau dates from the beginning of the 18th century, but its history goes back in to the time of William the Conqueror, when it was the residence of the Lord of Percy, the first ruler of these lands, whom according to legend was the personal chef of the Conqueror... All of the bedrooms have a small entrance (foyer) to guarantee privacy. An interesting observation about this outstanding chateau is that in its half board rate, one can choose “a la carte” any delicacy desired. |
