A historic
old villa was built in 1892 for Max Brandmeyer,
an aristocrat of
German origin, who,
enchanted by the beauty of the
area,
decided to buy a whole
plot of land on which to build a
luxurious residence,
which he wished to name
“Oasi Villa”,
as it was the
last homestead before reaching the “deserto”.
After a careful restoration this splendid residence hosts nowadays
Oasi
Olimpia Relais, a small
boutique hotel, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. Its
privileged location on the hill side above "S.Agata
sui due Golfi" in one of the most panoramic spots on the
Sorrentine peninsula, thus providing an ideal setting for those who wish to spend their
holiday in peace and tranquillity, relaxing in a corner
of paradise where the quiet surroundings, guarantee the best of holidays.
Its beautifully furnished interiors create an ambience
of true class. 12 comfortable and welcoming rooms, decorated
with style, class and taste,
with antiques and period furniture, and wherever
possible, the original brightly coloured
ceramics, so characteristic of this area, together with the attention to every detail are
the elements to guarantee guests, comfort and
up to date amenities. A professional and full of warmth and
courtesy staff, is another asset for those who decide to choose Oasi
Olimpia Relais. Last but not least, amongst the services available, the Hotel
offers guests an exquisite,
gourmet cuisine. Its welcoming dining room, with stunning
views over the blue bay of Naples and the Vesuvius at the
distance, is renowned as the best of Campania, with tradition in
respect of old original recipes, but with that
touch of originality which makes the dishes more
appetizing. |
