rocky precipice and provides a magnificent view over the sea
and along the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant is easily
accessible from all rooms by modern elevator or by stairs.
Owned and operated by the Milano family for nearly 40 years,
Onda Verde has remained consistently dedicated to bringing
home-style Central and Southern Italian Cuisine to the
greater Amalfi Coast area. The chefs put old-fashion Italian
love and passion in their food preparation.
Onda Verde specializes in home-made pastas and specialty
fish dishes, along with a variety of other Italian culinary
delights. All of Onda Verde’s pastas and sauces are prepared
daily with the freshest and finest ingredients for your
dining pleasure. Our fruits, lemons, tomatoes and spices are
harvested from our family garden. We offer a fine selection
of local wines and various beers to compliment your dinner.
Please enjoy the home made lemoncello; a famous drink from
the Amalfi Coast. We cannot forget to help you end your
dinner with a nice cup of cappuccino to go along with an
authentic Italian dessert. Your senses for sight, taste and
smell will come alive when you are dining with us at the

The Hotel Onda Verde
is well connected with all the most interesting places of the
Amalfi Coast. The local bus called Sita with bus stop on the
parking takes you to the center of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello,
Sorrento, Pompei and many other places on the Amalfi-Sorrento
Coast.

and Anacapri - Pick-up from the hotel at 8:00 AM every day.
Sail from the
port of Amalfi across the gulf of Salerno to reach by steamer
Capri. First Anacapri: optional visit of the fabulous Villa of
Dr. Axel Munthe. Capri town: the mighty "Piazzetta", alleyways
full of shops, small cafés and restaurants. Visit of the gardens
of Augustus overlooking the famous Faraglioni rocks. Free time
for shopping, lunch and optional visit of the Blue Grotto.

Pompeii and Vesuvius

at 7:30 AM every day.
Whole day tour: escorted by guide and by deluxe motorcoach.
Pompeii
was destroyed by an eruption of Mont Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and
buried by a seven meters thick lay of lapilli and ash. The visit
to the ruins will give the opportunity to see many artifacts
well preserved which still now prove the prosperity of this town
in the past. After the visit, optional lunch in a Restaurant and
the excursion to the Vesuvius by bus up to 3.000 feet and on
foot to the crater for the visit with local authorized guide. A
visit to a cameos and corals factory will take place before the
return journey.

Sorrento and Herculaneum -
Pick-up from the Hotel at 9:00 AM every Tuesday
Whole day tour
escorted by guide and by de-luxe motorcoach. Driving along the
Amalfi Drive we will reach Positano and, during a short stop on
a panoramic terrace, you will admire a breathtaking scenery.
Then to Sorrento, one of the most well known places in the
province of Naples. Time at leisure to discover the town, to do
shopping and to visit an inlaid woodwork factory. Optional lunch
in a Restaurant, then to Herculaneum. The ancient town was
covered by a great stream of erupted matter mixed with mud
during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D.. What can be admired
today, after the excavations, are the remains of a town
suggesting the presence of rich inhabitants, thanks to the
discovery of bronzes, marble statues and silver objects. Return
along the untamed beauty of the Amalfi Coast, through the
picturesque villages of Conca dei Marini, Furore and Praiano.

 Naples

Leave the hotel by coach to Naples,
a many-coloured and many sided city unique for the character its
people. Full city tour: the Royal Palace, San Carlo's Theatre,
Piazza del Plebiscito and Piazza Municipio with the Maschio
Angiono, the battle-scarred castle, which reminds us of the
city's turbulent history. Free time for shopping. Return to the
hotel in the early afternoon.

 Paestum

Drive southward by de luxe coach to Paestum.
A visit to the ancient Greek temples dating back to the 6th
century B.C. Optional visit to the Archaeological Museum of
Paestum with its rich collection of Greek art and antiquities.
The excursion follows to the Castelcivita Grottoes, near the
Albirni Mountains. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Rome, the Eternal City, is one of the greatest capital cities in
the world and the centre of World Catholicism. Rome is a
cosmopolitan and enchanting city: all the monuments and
buildings are a constant reminder of the glorious past of the
Roman Empire. During a detailed city-sightseeing you can admire
its famous monuments: St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum, the
Forum, the Trevi Fountain,
Piazza
di Spagna,
Campidoglio, St. Angel's
Castle. Time at leisure. In the late afternoon departure to
Cassino with a stop for dinner in a restaurant. Expected return
at 10:30 p.m.
