This is a town situated between Viseu and Coimbra. But the hotel is inside the Bussaco National Park which is a few kilometers from Mealhada. The park has eight gates, all in different locations along the road, go into anyone and tell the gate keeper you have a reservation at the hotel. They will check your name on a list provided by the hotel in order to waive the park admission fee.
