The Park

A centenarial park full of rare essences and fragrant bushes surround the neo-classic style villa ereded in 1870 by the Austrian nobileman Kurt von Koseritz. The park extends on an area of 4 hectares of land that descends towards the lake shore. It hosts nine important fountains in mythological theme.

Cocktail Bar
The Cocktail Bar is located in the historic portion of Villa Cortine where is conserved the rich beauty which von Koseritz wished to surround himself; precious marbles transported by water from the quarries of Verona, symbolic frescos executed by the Brera Academy, Byzantine.

Stuccoes and polychromatic decor offer guests the opportunity to relive splendour of the past and pleasure of art.

The Old Villa
From the second half of the twentieth Century, alter a considerable structural enlargement, the Villa was transformed into a Hotel of great quality and prestige. In the 1970’s a local enterprising entrepreneur acquired the property and thanks to an attentive and complete restructuring restored the antique splendour to the house.

ABOUT SIRMIONE

"Salve, o venusta Sirmio....", the verses of Catullus roll like wawes: he loved and sang of Sirmione as "the gem of all the penisulas".
