All the furniture is studied in detail and all environments although equipped with all comforts, have remained faithful to the style of the palace, its tissues, its historic frescoes.
Palazzo Guiderocchi offers a lot of facilities, with the great surplus value of the location where the hotel is and the history and elegance of the palace. Inside the hotel there is the lift and on request the porter for the luggage.
Flavia Guiderocchi, daughter of Tommaso, a woman prone to attitudes that are ill-suited to the fair sex of that era. The "Warrior Girl" unlike her peers, grows up spending her time riding, arching, handling swords and wearing armor.
Tommaso, a proud man of arms and esteemed magistrate, favors his daughter's vocation and involves her whenever important facts emerge in the life of the city, putting her arms in her hands from an early age. In 1459 the charismatic Amazon fights like a lion in the din of screams and shots to assault the nearby Castle of Controguerra coming out triumphant.
It was love that made her "fall off her horse" when she decided to abandon the struggles to dedicate herself to the love of her life. Deserved gift, after a life of courage and determination.
A popular uprising, led by former Ghibelline Guelphs, with the cry of "dying the tyrant, hurray the people", in 1498 sets fire to the Guiderocchi palace, forcing the family to flee first and then to exile. This is followed by fierce fights between armed gangs, between internal and external troublemakers that deteriorate free civic institutions.
And the times are so sad that the Ascolans think it is better to get back under the papal wings to avoid worse trouble. In 1515 thanks to his stubbornness, Astolfo Guiderocchi manages to return to the city and decides to live forgetting the past and returning to sit on the Council of the city under the guidance of the Papal State. The Palace will return to being alive and the nerve center of the political life of the city.
Still in swaddling, little Flavia was consuming the last moments of her short life. His breathing became more and more labored, his face lit with fever and his forehead beaded with sweat. His mother and her faithful nurse wrapped Flavia in a linen sack and began to climb the mountains to reach the Sibyl. Through a rough, narrow and difficult route they came from Sibilla who seemed to be waiting for them.
The women entrusted Flavia to defeat an illness that seemed to jeopardize her life. The Virgin led her inside a cave full of bundles of flowers and herbs put to dry, the air was so full of smells almost to stun.
The Sibilla laid Flavia down on a mat of blankets and mats, undressed and sprinkled with ointments all her little body. The little hands began to soar in the air, the breath flowed more freely so that the next morning the baby was already healed.
La Sibilla, during the night, had a vision, imagining Flavia in a saddle on a white steed, the light armor shimmering under the sun, long blonde hair blowing in the wind, her face flushed with the exertions of the melee, her look proud and strong.
The girl would have been happy if they had trained her to the force of the arms and to eliminate every trace of the evil had the Sybil immersed Flavia in the Source of Health, a pool of warm water from which a faint mist rose, and Flavia lapped by those gurgling waters enjoyed their contact. His destiny was so marked forever.
Tommaso Guiderocchi, scollo of a warlike nature, animated by indomitable courage and sense of belonging. With his deeds will mark the history of the dynasty in a unique way. Combining courage with prudence, in a short time the charismatic leader of the city conquered many neighboring lands and with great cunning we can win the trust of the Ascoli people and even more of the Republic of Venice, King Ferdinand of Naples, the Pope and St. Giacomo della Marca who will help him later.
Contrary to what was defined by the Pope, Thomas was not a tyrant at all but a man with strict moral and extremely religious principles. His goal was to revive Ascoli in production, commerce and the arts. It was precisely for this strength of his will that, in 1482, Ascoli proclaimed free from the Papal State.
He will fight until the end of his days to regain the lost territories. The misfortunes of the Guiderocchi will begin in the aftermath of the reached democracy, willfully stubbornly desired by Thomas and will tragically pay the consequences of his descendants until the complete disappearance of his lineage. Thomas died in 1488, leaving his heirs Flavia and Astolfo the arduous task of continuing the deeds of the family.
