ABOUT RADDA IN CHIANTI

Located in Tuscany, in the heart of the Chianti Region, Radda is certainly one of the earls of the landscape of this beautiful region whose charme hasnt changed during the centuries. Once etruscan settlement and then roman village, it has had its maximum importance as agricultural and strategic point during the middle age, as shown by the architecture of its monuments and buildings.
Radda in Chianti, one of the three players in the original Lega del Chianti and still an important wine center, retains its medieval street plan and a bit of its walls. The center of town is the 15th-century Palazzo del Podestà, studded with the mayoral coats of arms of past podestà. Come and enjoy tasting the wine of this lovely town.
