Hotel Villa Paradiso dell’Etna is simply beautiful, so it is not common to find a hotel as perfect in every way as this one. The building dates from the 1920’s and it was built to be a hotel, but after the war it certainly did not look like one anymore. It was the grandson in law of its original owner who decided to refurbish it in the 90’s, and open it as a luxurious hotel. Only the four feet wide outside walls were left untouched, the rest is all new with a liberty style in design and decor. Every room and suite is different, each with different furnishings and details in the walls. For example, head boards made by Sicilian artisans, with semiprecious stones inserted into them. There are four suites in Villa Paradiso dell'Etna, each one with an allegoric name and a unique layout and decor. Suite “Aci” has a beautiful alpaca king bed and Suite “Lachea” is decorated in blue, but not just blue paint or wallpaper, all the motifs on the walls were painted by hand... In this hotel it really does not matter which room you pick, they are all perfect. And if this were not enough, prices are an absolute bargain and the location ideal to visit a lot of Sicily, including Mount Etna, which can clearly be seen from the hotel.
