In the village of Finale Ligure, close to the beach, Hotel Punta Est was originally built as the XVIII century mansion of a musician and composer from La Scala in Milan. More than a standard hotel, it is almost like a world apart from the rest of the coast… it is a special place which preserves the charm of ancient Liguria, offering guests an exquisite, elegant and relaxing Mediterranean experience.
The Villa is perched on a hillside, inside a large park overlooking the beach, among centuries old pine trees, palms and exotic plants.

Access is not always obvious and parking operations require some attention, but the staff service is ready to help you and an electric car is available to transport luggage. Once arrived on the small promontory (better with shoes with rubber soles) views of the sea through the branches of the pines remember the verses of the Italian poet Eugenio Montale … “Look through leaves the heartbeat away from the sea scales …” it is surrounded by a sense of well-being, and you never want to leave!

For business meetings, conferences, etc. the hotel has a 60 seat conference hall, adaptable to every need ( theatre style, conference room, etc.) . The hall has a flat screen TV, DVD reader and satellite TV (SKY) , video projector, lighted display board, etc. Additional interior and exterior spaces are available for coffee breaks or aperitifs. Packages are available to include rooms, conference hall, coffee breaks and business lunches (up to 100 guests).
Relaxing in our natural cave is a unique, enchanting wellness experience!
Our guests can enjoy a truly magical soak in our large, beautiful american redwood hot tub and then cool off in a hand carved granite tub.
This special area is available to all our guests, however we would like to remind parents that children under 16 should always be accompanied by an adult.
The ancient olive grove beside the hotel’s gardens, has become part of the property. After a winter of hard work, the centuries old olive trees and hand made stone walls are coming back to their splendor. An organic vegetable garden has also found a great location beneath the trees. Our Chefs offer guests our own extra virgin olive oil and local vegetables ; our guests may visit this precious corner of Liguria.
From 2015 spring, the swimming pool is heated with salt water.
