Originally
designed as a modern villa the Hotel Punta Tragara was, in 1973, transformed into one of
Capri's most spectaculars hotels.
Located in a quiet location
near the icon Faraglioni rocks,
over the most dramatically beautiful scenery,
this refined and sublimely peaceful oasis, attracts
a variety
of travellers, from overworked executives, to young honeymooners to its romantic, spa-like atmosphere.
A lush Mediterranean garden setting,
with its colours and fragrances, leads to the supremely
elegant building, which stands in perfect harmony with the surroundings.
Spread over three buildings which encircle the
two swimming pools, the guests rooms are tastefully and individually
furnished in Mediterranean style,
with antiques and precious ceramic floors, and all
with a balcony which looks over the truly breathtaking view of
the Faraglioni rocks, or the bay of Marina Piccola.
Under the
deep blue sky, guests can relax
and enjoy the pleasures of the
seawater, heated swimming pool, the thermal baths and the hydro-massage
or sample a host of delicious lunch time snacks, superb
seafood and fabulous fish specialities of the Bussola pool side restaurant.
For a
romantic candle-light dinner or a pleasant evening amongst
friends, savouring the best Mediterranean cuisine, the perfect setting
can be provided by Il Bizantino, a typical restaurant in the
veranda. For your romantic moments choose the night club, built entirely
in the rocks or the terrace bar, a great place in which to watch the sun set. |
