The Hotel Quinta Duro is surrounded by a 20.000 square meters park, with native and foreign gorgeous specimens of trees. The hotel, with 22 beds, is located in the main house of the property, which is more than 300 years old.
After a very careful reconstruction, the hotel offers now 11 double rooms with bathroom, a large lounge on the main floor, with a view to the garden and to the city of Gijón. It is a very sunny lounge, with 14 comfortable armchairs, and decorated with beautiful art pieces, paintings and sculptures, and a game room decorated with a beautiful library, chimney (it is never fired), game table, sofas and TV; a dining room, a wonderful piece on the main floor, with a direct exit to the gallery with columns, on the South Front. It has a chimney, and it is decorated with two splendid walnut sideboards and table, terrace and garden. Five of the eleven rooms have two beds, and the other six rooms, matrimonial beds (king size). One of the rooms with two beds is appropriately designed for people with physical disabilities. All the spaces in the hotel are beautifully decorated with stylish furniture. The dining room offers breakfast every morning and a permanent self service with hot and cold drinks.
