Venetian
Restaurant:
Here we have the
heart of the Residenz. The cheerful and solid ambience puts
guests in the mood for a culinary art on a par with world-class
cuisine. The restaurant interior shows classical antiquity
from Italy – ready for guests to experience incomparable
hours of great pleasure.
With the help of a reserved, but effective lighting
arrangement, the lounge shimmers in sunlight at midday,
whereas in the evening, it is shrouded in a comforting
twilight.
Garden Salon:
A different scene and
different colours, but the same lightness. Champagne-coloured
light, bouquets of lilies and amaryllis and mediterranean "Lüftel"
artwork create the elegance and character of the garden
salon. The long side is adorned with round painted arches.
Baroque stucco completes the image of summer castle gardens.
The windows open onto the mountain terrace where visitors
may gaze out at the fantastic Kampenwand massif. |

Look around you. Let your thoughts drift. Slowly unwind.
The winter garden of the Residenz is the ideal place to take
pleasure in a spectacular alpenglow, a rainbow after a storm
or the snow sparkling on the illuminated terrace in the
evening.
The winter garden is the rendezvous for an aperitif or an
after-dinner drink. It is not only for the numerous
personalities that frequent the Residenz. It is a place for
stimulating encounters,a place to enjoy life. |

Finnish sauna, Roman sauna, Kneipp rondel, ice showers, tepidarium,
and pool with adjustable counter current, the laconium is an oasis
of relaxation. |

Healing
treatments using sea water, algae and mineral mud smooth the skin
and softly mould the figure. They "de-stress" and help you to a
charisma that is definitely more beautiful. During thalassotherapy
(thalassa is Greek and means “the sea”), you bathe in specially
enriched water at a pleasantly warm 33 degrees, thus creating a so-called
"aurea curae" - a healing environment - that opens the pores and
lets minerals and trace elements from the seawater get into the skin.

Salzburg
(at 40 Miles, rapid access from Highway A8):
An
urban jewel from the baroque age; countless sights invite you to
stroll around and linger in the city of Salzburg, named a World
Heritage town by the UNESCO in 1997. There are many museums and
nicely restored houses, and especially the baroque old town is of
historical and aesthetic value. And there's always Hohensalzburg
Castle - the biggest, fully preserved castle in Central Europe. The
home of the most famous "son" of the city is also worth a visit.
The
Mozart Weeks take place every year in honour of Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart. The Salzburg Festival is world famous - its concerts, operas
and plays can be booked directly from the Residenz. |
