The Residenz Heinz Winkler was created from a late medieval building, which had been called the Hotel Post for centuries. Heinz Winkler purchased the premises in 1989 and rebuilt them into his modern but, at the same time, tradition-conscious Residenz. Displaying great personal commitment, the owner himself oversaw the restoration and the rebuilding of the former "Hotel Post" in his own very personal style. Heinz Winkler believes that he is responsible not only for the culinary well-being of his guests, but also for their general well-being.
Today, the refuge contains 32 rooms and 13 suites, some with a balcony, terrace, and garden. It accommodates the Venetian Restaurant, the Garden Salon, and, for special events, the Mozart Vaults. A marvellous terrace with an imposing view of the Alps guarantees very special summer days. |
