Forte dei Marmi
is the most
famous locality
in the Versilia Coast, a charming elite destination in Tuscany,
where everything in summer takes place in the seclusion of splendid
homes hidden by the foliage of umbrella pines trees.
A pleasant, slow-paced town with a refined atmosphere, where the
ancient rituals of the walk, the coffee or the snack are observed
religiously by locals and visitors alike. Is an ideal base for a holiday
and the starting point for visiting cities such as Pisa and Florence. Every summer Forte dei Marmi presents a rich
calendar of events, such as the Jazz’n Forte festival and La
Versilian. The Fort, built in 1788, is located in the main
square and as the town is named after it, has become its symbol. |
