Capacity of the Meeting Rooms

Its name derives from the name of the hero Mękonos son of the mythical King of Delos, Anios, son of Apollo and the nymph Rhoio descendant of Dionysos. Lonians from Athens settled here at the end of the second millennium BC, overthrowing the Karians and Phoenicians the first inhabitants. Very little is known about Mękonos in historical times. The island's protector was Dionysos who was worshipped as Baccheus and Leneus and is represented on its coinage.
Mękonos island is world famous. Cosmopolitan, and picturesque, with dazzling beaches, relentless nightlife, renowned restaurants, inspiring architecture, and an astoundingly diverse crowd. Along its whitewashed, cobbled streets, stand brilliant white cubic houses with stepped walls for sitting on wooden doors and windows and brightly colored balconies.
The cultural life of Mękonos, is also very interesting. There are three art galleries, the musty Municipal Library, the Fine Arts School, the island Archeological museum, the Folklore museum, the Agriculture and the Maritime  museums. The islands spiritual point is the shadowy 18th-century monastery of Panaghia Tourliani,  a must visit site.
