The Atlantis Spa is open 7 days a
week. The heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, two saunas, two steam rooms,
sun deck and fully-equipped fitness centre are avilable free of
charge to hotel guests. Massage facilities, solarium, aqua gym and
personal trainers are also available (at an additional charge). A 10
Kms. footpath extends along the lakeshorw; a scenic jogging track for
the energetic or, for the romantically-inclined, a peaceful setting

good base from which to explore the region, Montreux offers an array
of attractions and activities to suit every taste.
For lovers of culture and antiquities, a visit to the Castle of
Chillon is a "must". This imposing 13thC landmark, perched on a
rocky outcrop by the lake, and immortalised by Lord Byron in his
epic poem, "The Prisoner of Chillon", has been beautifully restored.
Or, stroll around the streets of Montreux and be enchanted by the
Victorian architecture and the reminders of La Belle Epoque era,
when the well-to-do came to take healthy holidays on the shores of
Lake Geneva.
 For
music lovers, the world-renowned Jazz Festival in the month of July,
or the Classical Music Festival in September, will certainly be a
highlight of your visit to Montreux. And, don't forget that by
selecting the Royal Plaza, you may even bump into your favourite
celebrity during your stay !
Food and wine lovers will be amply satisfied in this region... You
can visit the wine cellars of Lavaux and sample some of the local
wines, or the medieval town of Gruyeres, the home of cheese, where
we recommend a fondue in one of its charming cafes. If you'd like to
try exotic food or Asian fare, from the most simple to the most
refined...
 Montreux
can also help to work off the calories tennis, cycling, golf and a
wide choice of hiking trails are all available in summer plus
boating and sailing, and not forgetting the more adventurous sports
like para-gliding and water skiing… on Lake Geneva.
A winter's stay would not be
complete without taking to the slopes, less than an hour away, for
skiing, snowboarding and skating in beautiful surroundings. To round
off the evening, you can try your luck at the gaming tables in the
