San Clemente Palace is centrally located just a few
minutes away from St. Mark's Square and many of Venice's major
attractions, San Clemente Palace is set on the 17-acre private island of
San Clemente, boasting magnificent views of St.Mark's, Giudecca Island and
the Lido, and built on what formerly was a 17th century Camaldolesi
monastery distinguished by captivating open courtyards set on nearly four
acres of a centuries-old park. Restoration was undertaken to achieve a
truly luxurious hotel, with an accomplished respect to preserve

well as the island’s historical flavour, artistic treasures and
natural beauties. Marble, silk wall coverings, Murano chandeliers and
voluminous curtains abound in its spacious public spaces and airy
corridors where sunlight streams in. The rooms have different decorations,
some in orient style, other in Venetian and equipped with modern
accessories. In its restaurants, different atmospheres and charming views
of San Marco an the lagoon, superb cuisine from the Mediterranean
