Is an ancient town with a typical rural Castilian
architecture. surrounded by tall rocky areas and hills of holm oaks and
savin junipers in which wild boars and roe deer roam alongside
rabbits, hares and partridges. The River Jalón waters the area and
one of its meanders circles the town. Within walking distance
from the hotel visit the Castle, the 18th century
Church of la Visitación, the Jalón Meadow, Hermitage of la
Soledad and its 1898
fountain.

Walking towards Madrid, visit the Cave of la Mora, a Neolithic archaeological site
which is entered by way of a narrow stone that leads into a
large vault. Before reaching their destination, visitors can
contemplate the Cave of el Aire, an old well with its pool of
water and cascade in the middle of river Jalón , as well as the village of Rioblanco, one of the Jalón’s tributaries, with its necropolis of anthropomorphic
sepulchres and Uclera’s abandoned iron mine. Other interesting
town is Jubera. |
