If only all the hotels
in Switzerland would be like the "Schlosshotel Chastè" there would
be no more headlines about "the punished hotel business" in
Switzerland and everything would be in order - just as it is in the
"Schlosshotel Chastè" owned by Daniela and Rudolf Pazeller who keep
their home and their guests with much commitments and love. An
exceptional jewel: This 4 star property is located In the village of
Tarasp (about 60 Kms from St. Moritz), a beautiful and spacious residence with its outdoor wall
paintings, reflects the decorative tradition of Graubünden. It was
formerly an Engadin farmhouse, which was turned into a hotel of
special class within the last three generations.
Inside, tribute is
paid to the finest swiss woodwork. The
rooms in which guests eat are much cosier than conventional hotel
dining rooms. They are panelled with Engadine tradition and yet have
modern ventilation.
The entire countryside round about is a garden. Try to spot the
borderline between mother nature and the hotel's wide gardens. In
the middle of them, there is a pavillon-perfect for small parties
and secluded study. |
